Robert Organ, painter, draughtsman, architectural designer and teacher, was born in Hutton, Somerset in 1933.
He studied at the West of England College of Art in Bristol and at the Slade School of Fine Art under George Sweet and Claude Rogers.
He taught painting and drawing at Falmouth School of Art and architecture at Bristol University, Cambridge University and at the Architectural Association.
During his long and distinguished career he has had many solo exhibitions including London, Bristol, Bath and Newlyn.
His work can be found in Public collections in Brighton, Exeter and the University of Illinois, USA.
Most recently his work has been purchased by The National Trust.
